Star Wars Clone Wars: Republic Heroes First Impressions

I got to meet up with my pals from Lucas during E3 yesterday, and they walked me through their Star Wars themed title.

I got to meet up with my pals from Lucas during E3 yesterday, and they walked me through their Star Wars themed title. A classic battle between good and evil (is there any other kind?), you battle your way through levels wielding your Light Saber and powers of the Force. But this game isn't based on the classic Star Wars franchise — it takes off after season one of the hugely popular animated series on the Cartoon Network, Clone Wars.

Not only does the game look like a ton of fun for experienced gamers and newcomers alike (since the main action involves button mashing and aiming your joystick), but it keeps things fresh by adding in a few new features. To find out what they are, just read more

Buzz In: What Is Your Favorite Beatles Song?

Come September, the songs of the Beatles will begin to be released digitally, starting with the album Abbey Road.

Come September, the songs of the Beatles will begin to be released digitally, starting with the album Abbey Road. On Sept. 9, when the Beatles version of Rock Band will be released, "All You Need Is Love" will be available for Xbox 360 users as a downloadable song with proceeds of the single being donated to Doctors Without Borders. You can check out a trailer for the Rock Band game over on geeksugar.

At the E3 conference in Los Angeles recently, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison revealed 10 of the 45 songs that should be included in The Beatles: Rock Band: "I Saw Her Standing There," "I Want To Hold Your Hand," "I Feel Fine," "Taxman," "Day Tripper," "Back In The USSR," "I Am The Walrus," "Octopus's Garden," "Here Comes The Sun" and "Get Back."

Though the Rock Band thing is pretty cool, I'm also excited to see that Beatles songs will soon be released digitally. What are your favorite tunes by the Beatles? Could you pick just one?

My Favorite Nintendo News From the E3 Keynote

This morning at Nintendo's press conference at E3, Gizmodo followed all of the announcements on their liveblog, and I couldn't help but get excited about three in particular.

This morning at Nintendo's press conference at E3, Gizmodo followed all of the announcements on their liveblog, and I couldn't help but get excited about three in particular.

The first one is the new multiplayer Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, appropriately titled New Super Mario Bros. The game sadly won't be in 3D, but it will come with fun new powerups (like a propeller suit) and an autozoom feature that will keep all four players on screen while flying. The New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii will be available right in time for Christmas this year.

Watch the Beatles: Rock Band Trailer With Avatars and Songs!

Finally! More Beatles: Rock Band juiciness was revealed yesterday when Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr took the stage at E3.

Finally! More Beatles: Rock Band juiciness was revealed yesterday when Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr took the stage at E3. A partial song list was revealed, but what's more exciting is the brand spankin' new trailer below! Play it and hear some of the chosen songs, plus footage of the band's avatars and game play.

P.S. The video game, which is set to drop in September, will come with a song list, but more downloadable content, such as (my favorite album Abbey Road), will be made available after its release.
