iPad Keyboard Shipments Delayed
You Can Buy an iPad, But You'll Have to Type on the Screen
Many people have voiced concerns over the iPad's onscreen keyboard, worried that typing on it will be awkward. Apple helped alleviate concerns with the accessory keyboard, which allows you to prop up the iPad and type in a traditional computer style. But now, shipment of the iPad's keyboard is delayed, possibly until May.
So if you've already preordered your iPad in hopes of typing on its keyboard, you're out of luck for about a month. Another technical snafu . . . or maybe Apple is trying to encourage adoption of the onscreen keyboard.
