Finding the perfect camera case can be a daunting task. First you have to decide if you want a case that fits into a purse, or if you can settle for a case that doubles as a wallet as well. Then there are size issues, and making sure the case will protect your camera plus finding something that is reasonably priced. During CES, I happened to have the chance to check out some of Kodak's new cases, which expand on their fashion camera bag series line. The cases are tiny, fashionable and are not exclusive to Kodak cameras. The fact that you could use one by itself or throw it in a purse is a double bonus. And with other Kodak cases priced in the $15 to $25 range, I'm sure these ones will be equally inexpensive! Keep checking back to the Kodak site for purchasing info.
I'm what's considered a Craigslist junkie. I am constantly trolling the site, checking out the furniture section for hot vintage finds, reading Missed Connections for entertainment value, and cruising the housing listings for fantasy home relocation day-dreaming.
My love for Craigslist almost rivals my love for eBay, on which I've been an active member and shopper for years now. I am always encouraging people to use either when they are on the hunt for an item they just can't find in stores, but something many people shy away from on Craigslist or eBay is electronics. But for as many fraud experiences, it seems like there are twice as many happy success stories. Have you ever bought a gadget on Craigslist or eBay, and if so, what?
We finally came off of our Macworld and MacBook Air high and got back to the business of games, cupcakes, and geek love. Check out the slideshow for what you missed!
I've long been impressed by Kensington'swireless mice, and they have me again with their SlimBlade Media Mouse. A laser, wireless mouse that feels great in your hand and the best part is that it becomes a remote when you flip it over! You can use it to play, pause, change the track, and turn the volume up and down on media players like iTunes. The mouse runs for $60 and comes in burgundy or black, and will go into sleep mode when your computer does so that the battery doesn't wear out as fast. So next time you have a party, you won't have to rush to your computer when "YMCA" starts playing on your shuffle playlist at your classy cocktail party!
I stopped and stared at this product for a few beats too long on OhGizmo!. I am still having a hard time wrapping my head around what it is and how exactly you're supposed to use it. Basically, the Lindo Hip Desk is a piece of fiberglass that wraps around your hips to become a mobile laptop desk. Talk about being attached to your work! (Bah-dumb-chah!)
Anyway, I don't think I can get behind this (and the dumb jokes continue, folks!), but this might be useful to someone . . . somewhere. Those dudes who still wear fanny packs? Maybe. It's still a concept, so you don't have to fear getting hit by a Hip Desk attached to an office drone out on the street quite yet.
Anxiety is exactly what I have all day long on busy days, even when I have online calendars and alarms on my cell phone set to remind me. But now I have the application Anxiety, which feeds my need for to-do lists I can check off as I do them. There is an indescribable feeling of satisfaction in checking something off your to-do list, isn't there?
Add tasks directly into the Anxiety window, which hovers on your desktop and when you check the little box next to the task, they disappear. Anxiety — which only works with Macs — also syncs with iCal. Now the only thing I have to worry about forgetting is adding the tasks to Anxiety!
