I'm super stoked for this year's blockbuster, Iron Man to hit the big screen, not only 'cause Robert Downey Jr. is one of mine and Pop's fave leading men, but because the tech and gadget cameos are sure to put me in geek overload! If you haven't seen the preview, it's packed pretty tight with geeky goodness that I'm sure you'll enjoy, plus some pretty rockin' tunes that I wish they'd offer up on Rock Band!
Thankfully, the video game will be hitting the shelves on the same day as the movie release – May 2 – so you can go from theater straight to your home console without missing a beat. But the good news is Robert Downey Jr, Terrence Howard (Lt. Rhodes) and Shaun Taub (Yin-Sin) will be lending their voice talents to the game as well. Which consoles are getting in on the action? From drunk texting to saying "I <3 U", text messages have invaded our love lives. While it seems there are no real standards or set etiquette, it's clear they have become an integral part of personal communication, flirting, courting and relationships. Have you been paying attention?
I love this! Jay Carlson from The Plug decided one day to leave a disposable camera on a bench with a note that read: "Good afternoon, I attached this camera to the bench so you could take pictures. Seriously. So have fun. I'll be back later this evening to pick it up. Love, Jay / The Plug."
And what happened next? As passerby's discovered the camera, many picked it up and took fun photos. And when he returned later that evening, the entire roll was filled with memorable moments from throughout the day.

Geek jewelry isn't just about binary code and recycled computer cables. A husband-and-wife design team have created ITSNONAME, a line of science-inspired Periodic symbol rings that are halfway between classy and brassy. The "Ag Silver Periodic Ring" edition will set you back $205, while the Pt Platinum Periodic Ring is a whopping $6,500. Would you rock it?
Whether we're headed on a wild Spring Break excursion, to our parents' house for a formal Easter dinner, or out to celebrate the first day of Spring, we all want to look our best on camera. Here are a few of my favorite tips for looking and feeling good on camera:
Pose like a celebrity! — Rihanna and Jenna Jameson love the over-the-shoulder pose because it flaunts your back and draws attention to detail of your gown if it's backless or really ornate. Not for you? Standing at an angle like Michelle Trachtenberg with one knee out (I call it the "cheerleader stance") makes you appear slimmer in pics. Cross your ankles to elongate your legs and make sure your shoulders are back and you're standing tall.
For those to wear boxer/briefs on a regular basis, and are completely obsessed with their iPod, I recommend investing in a pair of iBoxers.
Available in pink, white, turquoise, black or yellow for $19, these high-tech undies which were featured on Chip Chick will keep your MP3 player in a safe, snug pocket. Maybe I'm just not as close to my iPod as I thought, because sweatshirt pocket works just as well for me!
