Although I wasn't able to make it to the Superbowl of gaming expos this year, I do have a few reliable sources who have been bringing the gaming noise all week. So rather than sprinkle in news here and there, I thought I'd bring it to you all at once! Whether you're into XBox, PS3, Wii, or your trusty handheld, there's something for everyone. Check out my slideshow and get your E3 gaming fix.
The Rolleiflex Mini Digital Camera is about as vintage geek-meets-modern functionality as you can get. It's a 5-megapixel camera, but it looks its 1920s era German namesake.
I'm thoroughly charmed by the Rolleiflex, especially the up-facing display that lets you shoot without the camera and the hand-lever crank, and how cute it looks around your neck.
But $400 for a 5-MP camera? Is it a justified price for novelty?
Remember a few months ago, when we all got giddy because AT&T hotspots were suppose to be free for iPhone customers? Well that didn't exactly happen, but now (I'm guessing because of iPhone 3G mania), AT&T's free WiFi hotspot access is finally live! If you've got an iPhone, you can now use the WiFi at 17,000 sites around the US, including Starbucks. Use AT&T's hotspot locator to see where the nearest hotspot locations are to you! Forgive me for quoting Celine but, "A new day has come!"
For my celebrity gadget endorser and cell phone clip-wearing celeb quizzes, the big guess is figuring out the celebrity's face, but today, we're doing something different — this time, you have to guess the gadget the celebrity is pictured with! Pick your geek celeb brain to remember who has a BlackBerry and who has an iPhone, who's been spotted with an iPod, and who's got which kind of laptop! Ready, set, go!

Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger played with a gadget at a formal event earlier this year. What was it?
Although I've showed you several ways to make your own ringtones previously using some pretty cool applications, and you can make almost any song a ringtone in iTunes for a fee, why not use some of the music you already have and create custom ringtones on the fly? This is especially for you Mac users, since it uses the apps you already have stocked in your machine.
All you need is the latest version of Garageband (4.1.1), iTunes (7.5 or later), and some music, and you're good to go!
Check out my slideshow for a step by step guide to making your own ringtones. . . for free!
With Project Runway back in action, and Spoonflower finally available to fulfill my textile design fantasies, it's high time I pulled out my sewing machine. Geeky sewing crafts perk me up, and when you can fuse tech and textile, I'm fascinated. Check out this video from Hack a Day, which demonstrates a machine-embroidered LED matrix.
