We all spend so much time searching the net for various things, so why not use a search engine that actually donates money to your favorite charity while you search? With GoodSearch, all you have to do is enter your search terms and pick an NGO of your choice and they'll donate to that charity each time you do a search! Here's the 4-1-1: The site will donate $.01 to your charity for each search, 50 percent of their revenue goes to the NGOs listed on the site, and their primary search engine is Yahoo — which may take a bit of getting use to. But all in all, it's totally legit, and at least you're giving back while doing something you do on the net anyways! A big thanks to TeamSugar user carrothead for submitting this great site to our Website of the Day group!

Looks like the iPhone 3G won't be playing as hard to get as I originally thought. As of today, if you check out Apple's iPhone 3G inventory site, every Apple store across the US is fully stocked with 3G's.
What model will be the most difficult to get? Probably the black 8GB, which is only available at about 57 percent of the stores. And what about AT&T? Well because they are still filling back orders, their shelves are still looking sparse, so go to the Apple store if you need to get the goods!
Hopefully this means that new iPhone 3G adopters won't have to wait in any crazy long lines!
Flickr is a dreamland — but while you get to be exposed to a wide variety of photography, amateur and professional, it's overwhelming and sometimes difficult to find new streams that move you. That is, until you find something like photographer Michael Hughes's set of images, called souvenirs.
Hughes's cheeky photos consist of images where he holds the miniature version of a landmark up to the actual landmark that inspired it, like the Eiffel Tower or the Brandenburg Gate.
I'm not usually amped up to take a ton of photos of an iconic monument, but Hughes's work encourages me to see the "same old things" with different eyes — or lens, ahem. Check out the whole set and see if you don't get the same feeling!
Sometimes if I'm out of time, I'll get that pop-up to update an application and ignore it for a while if I'm otherwise busy. But sometimes I'm so excited for an update, like the iPhone's 2.0 update, that I'll go to great lengths to download it. In that case, I was so eager for the App Store that I manually applied it to my phone, rather than waiting for the official go-ahead, which would have been infinitely easier (and was a semi-waste since I bought the new iPhone the next day, but it was still worth it!).
Gizmodo's got a great list of historical firmware updates that turned out to be epic failures in many cases, and an explanation of why it never hurts to wait a few days to update. This is kind of why I haven't done the iPhone 2.0.1 firmware update yet (that, or laziness).
But as for you, I want to know: Do you always update when you get prompts or when you know they're available? Or do you wait, or sometimes — gasp! — never get the update?
My pal Savvy mentioned what $14,635 can get you on an Airbus A380 flight from JFK to Dubai on Emirates Airlines (in first class, of course). But I'm more interested in the amenities I can get for only $1,500 in coach! A drop in the bucket, I know. Coach passengers on the 14-hour flight get to enjoy their own personal 10.4-digital widescreen display with over 500 channels to choose from, plus each seat has its own power source and USB connection. A gyroscopic cup holder keeps your drink level at all times, and in-cabin lighting simulates the time of day at your destination, so jet lag will be less of a problem when you land.
But the coolest feature I found in coach on the Airbus A380 is their ICE system. No, I'm not talking about chilling your drink; this ICE stands for Information, Communication, and Entertainment. To see more details on this cool system, read more
So, I'm sure you might be sick of me going on and on about how great the iPhone is, but let me just say, I've found something I don't like: the standard issue earbuds. Seriously, my ears are not that big, and without the assistance of the earbud covers (which are not included, by the way), these things won't stay in! Plus, the bass is practically non-existent, and don't get me started on the treble. The only thing I do like is the phone button that allows you to switch from music to phone with one tap, but it really doesn't make up for the poor sound quality. So after much searching, I've found some sweeter alternatives if you are having the same problems. Check them out in the slideshow!
Can you guess the perfect man who not only knows how to make a good cherry mojito, but is also the proud new owner of a red Tesla Roadster? That would be Google co-founder Sergey Brin. My friend was out on Sunday and happened to catch Brin cruising around San Francisco's Marina district in his 100 percent electric car, and snapped this pic. Although you can't see Brin, my friend swears it's him, as he saw him finishing up some kiteboarding in the bay before jumping in his sweet ride.
