Let's say you've come up with this great episode guide for Battlestar Galactica. You've included pictures, insights, and some pretty great outlines for where you think the season finale is headed, and you want to get your guide out to the masses instead of keeping it all to yourself. You need eyeballs on that piece of art!
So you head on over to Scribd, upload your document (in Word, Excel, PDF or Text form), and off it goes into the vast reaches of the Internet for all the BSG Fanboys and Fangirls to see.
Still wondering what Scribd is? Well, for starters, it's a storage device, a self-publishing site, and a search engine all in one. Scribd lets you publish your documents and get them on the web for free and then allows you to embed your documents anywhere you wish — on your blog, Facebook, or Linkdin pages, anywhere. Plus, you can search for documents by type — how-to, eBook, essay — so your document can be found easily by others. Oh, and did I mention it was free? Scribd is also pretty sweet for proud mothers who would like to post their kids' A+ papers on their family blogs. Go ahead and say it: My kid is smarter than yours!
Oh Stephen, you never cease to amaze me with your geeky toys and Dance Dance Revolution Dance-Off competitions. I'm not surprised you've already scooped up a new black iPhone 3G, but you never told me you were such a Sex and the City fan?! I'm actually impressed you've pimped out your phone with such a signature ringtone. . . . the ladies will love it and the men will wish they had an ounce of your coolness. Keep up the good work.

Looks like everyone's finally throwing their hat into the ring of charging stations; the bad news is that you might be bored seeing new ones, but the good news is that the prices of them keep going down!

Chiasso's Techno Box Docking Station is only 38 bucks — a far cry from the hundreds of dollars the Multipot commanded when it came out (and still far from the $169 of Pottery Barn's All in One Station).
The Techno is a great solution if you're craving a charging station (and a cute one at that, in gray and white plastic) but don't want to pay more than $40.
I hate it when the trailer for a movie has me all excited, and then a few minutes in I realize I have a totally lame, boring, or disappointing 90 minutes ahead of me (why Speed Racer, why?!). So after a friend turned me on to Flixter, I've been feeling a little more confident that the movie I'm about to see is worthy of my $10.50.

Flixter's tagline is "Stop Watching Bad Movies." 'Nuff said! With thousands of other movie buffs like you weighing in every day, you get a good idea of what the masses think about that new action flick in a simple, quick, and easy-to-read rating system. Plus, you can check out reviews of DVDs and get your social fix by seeing what films your friends have seen and rated. Another cool thing about Flixter is you can participate in user-generated polls and quizzes based on movies they've seen. It's a pretty hopping place, that Flixter. You should check it out.
Two yays! One yay for the return of Fall TV shows (my TiVo is no longer on Summer vacay) and second yay for season four of The Hills! Did you watch the season premiere last night? Looks like the drama will never die down! I won't totally spoil it in case you missed all the action and are going to catch a rerun this week, but I will say this — there weren't a whole lot of new tech treats to stare at, so if you need to brush up on your Hills cell phone and tech knowledge to gear up for this Summer, you can check it all out here! And with that, start your engines on the first tech quiz of season four!

You know, we're really lucky to no longer be slaves to standard black messenger laptop bags. These days, we have stylish options, and personally, my biggest problem is that I can't decide between colors and fabrics. But that doesn't mean I don't see a whole lot of ugly. I've compiled my Top Five Ugliest Laptop Bags for your pleasure (er, displeasure?)!
