EA announced yesterday that Natasha Bedingfield will be the official spokesperson for their newest singing and dancing game called Boogie Superstar. Why Superstar? Well, the fact that there are 40 new tracks by stars like The Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, my man Kanye, and of course Natasha herself, makes it a pretty big deal. Exclusively for your Wii system, Boogie Superstar is like a DDR/Singstar mash-up that not only has you showing off your vocal prowess, but uses the Wii's motion sensing technology to have you perform a sweat-inducing dance routine as well.

You could play alone in your room, but why not battle it out with your buds to see who can outperform who on Paula Abdul's new track? It will be like American Idol in your own living room, minus the crazy judges. Limber up and start your voice lessons now, cause Boogie Superstar will hit the shelves this October!
“Technology changes fast, ladies. Who knows what kind of silly contraptions the boys are going to come up with next. If faced with something you don’t understand, don’t be afraid to ask one of the copy writers for help. They’ll think it's endearing." What I wouldn't give to know more about what goes on in Joan Holloway's head!
Well, I sort of can — with the Twittering Mad Men characters.

The Tweeters are unrelated to the actors from the show, but are considered "brand ambassadors" and Twitter their retro moves — after a slight dust-up worthy of a Mad Men episode, that is (AMC briefly shut them down, but with a "gentle nudge" from their web marketing department, let them resume).
People like Don Draper and Peggy Olson are Twittering, so get on it — their musings might be in the next Mad Men Tech Quiz!
After much debate on where it's cool to have additional televisions in your house (I'm against in the bedroom, but for the dining room, for the record), I have another curious TV location for you to try on for size: the bathtub.

The Cosmo Hydromassage TV Bathtub is a spectacular two-in-one, combining a 17-inch LCD flat screen TV with a whirlpool tub. It fits two people, so woohoo to that! Despite the cost — about $4,580 — this is something you'd need to splurge on, due to the sensitive electronic nature. Please don't go DIYin' this.
I'm a longtime Yelp user, but lately things are getting a little crowded and messy in there. But it looks like I'll have options pretty soon: The Onion (yes, that Onion) is launching a new website for users to rate businesses, called Decider. It's not satirical, like its founder, but sincere, much like the AV Club.

So far, the only city Decider is in is Chicago, but they are planning to open it up for other cities soon, and so far, I'm a fan. The layout is clean and is sort of a hybrid of Yelp and CitySearch, employing the former's social networking and user ratings, and the latter's more formal elements, such as the editorial descriptions of businesses before the reviews.
I'm not taking sides; I can be a Yelper and a Decider — they just better get to San Francisco quick!
I'm always going on about how not keeping your laptop in a bag is going to damage it, but there are some people who go in a very odd direction with laptop safekeeping, and well, the results are not exactly appetizing.

Check out what happened when a guy left his laptop in the oven for safekeeping while out of town, and then — yes, someone turned it on and it melted. Generally, I hear that is what happens in these oven contraptions. They get very hot (fire is involved), and then proceed to cook whatever is put inside their bellies.
Geek Tip time! Do not use the oven for gadget storage. Evidence above.

I'm obviously a big fan of the Flip Video camera because of its portability and simple video uploading functions. My YouTube page has never been easier to populate! And of course, since the Flip was first on the scene, there are bound to be challengers pop up with improved capabilities. Enter the Kodak Zi6 Pocket Video Camera.

Coming just in time for the holiday season on Oct. 1, the Zi6 boasts some pretty impressive specs: HD recording at 16:9 aspect ratio, flip-out USB connector, 2.4-inch screen, on board slow motion playback, tripod mountable body, and an expandable SD/SDHC card slot that can hold up to 32 GB, which equals hours of video fun. The Zi6 is priced at an affordable $180 in your choice of black or pink, and will come stocked with video editing software to let you personalize your flicks with text, music, and still-photo extraction for sharing. It's the newest evolution in on-the-go video cameras! I'm definitely adding this bad boy to my Christmas list this year!
