We're finally back in the groove of having Gossip Girl on TV again, as they're back in the groove of being out of the Hamptons and back on the Upper East Side.
Last night we saw the uneasy couplings of the gang, but I was psyched to see so many tech treats!
Take my tech quiz and see how well you were paying attention!
I got a surprise visit the other day from a detective and a street cop. Needless to say, it kinda freaked everyone out having an intimidating looking guy flash his badge and ask for me by name! But thankfully, they weren't here to toss me in the slammer, they were here to recruit me to play a new mystery game called Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir. And as I'm sure you've guessed by now, they didn't have to twist my arm too hard to get me to jump on board!
If you liked Professor Layton and the Curious Village, then you'll probably like MillionHeir, since the game has a similar feel. In MillionHeir, you've been brought in to help find out who has snatched up a missing wealthy tycoon. You'll go from location to location looking for clues, and use your stylus as a microscope to get a better look around. To add to the excitement, you'll only have a certain amount of time to search and check clues off your list, kinda like a word search, but with objects. To learn more about the game and to see some pics from it, just read more
Usually I'm all "Holy schneikes" when I see a geek tattoo, but here's some body art I can wholly endorse: Temporary Geek Tattoos ($8)!
Express your love for coding and gaming with something that will come off with some baby oil and a cotton ball; I don't care how much you think you love saying pwned now, I mean, even the Zune guy is getting his removed!
I thought I geeked out when I saw (and devoted much time to making) Mario Cubeecrafts, but now they're really trying to kill me with the cute — check out these new papercrafts of classic TV characters! Pictured here from left to right, we have Pamela Anderson in Baywatch, Earl Hickey from My Name is Earl, and Dr. Jack Shepard from one of my all-time fave TV shows, Lost.
If you've never done a cubeecraft before, just download the template, and get ready to cut out teeny details in the name of geek craft. It's totally worth it when you have your adorable desk accessory to show off to your non-crafty coworkers!
TeamSugar user PeachyKeen19 recently wrote me asking for advice in buying a new gadget — a camcorder.
A video camera is definitely something you don't want to buy without guidelines, and PeachyKeen19 needs one that can take great quality video for short films and have the whole package: great audio and video. It also needs to be up-to-date and simple to use (just how I like my gadgets).

This era of web 2.0 is awesome for the consumer aspect of our lives; no longer do we have to guess if a restaurant is going to be good (or has violated health codes, yeeesh!), or if the down comforter you want to order online will be fluffy enough. No, we can rely on each other, uh-huh (yes that is an "Islands in the Stream" reference)!
Whether it's a helpful reviewer on Yelp that tips you off to the sushi place in your neighborhood you didn't know existed, or the lady in Philadelphia who can report that the vacuum you're eyeing on Overstock is a waste of money, it's awesome that we can trust each other's reviews. I mean, what did we do before? I know, it was kind of fun flying blind, and you can still do that, but it's nice to know that you have "friends" online that are looking out for you.
But there is one big problem with online reviews. To see what it is just read more
