Fair enough, I may not be able to get my hands on the Nike+ system unless I purchase a pair of Nike running shoes — which totally irks me — but for only $10, I can get something that can help me during my runs, without compromising my favorite footwear.
RunKeeper is a new app for the iPhone that uses built-in GPS on the 3G models that helps runners, walkers, or cyclists monitor their route and distance throughout a city. So far it sounds like it is fairly accurate and is said to work better than Nike+ iPod's pedometer estimation tools. And best of all, once you get home you can check out your route, distance, and pace on Google Maps!
If you use your gadgets half as much as me, you probably know how easy it is to get food in your keyboard, get finger smudges on your iPhone, or splash your laptop screen with tea or coffee. We've posted a few tips here and there for getting the goods off your gadgets, but for all your cleaning needs, you must head on over to How to Clean Stuff. This site not only tells you the tricks of the trade when it comes to getting your gadgets gleaming again, but you can find tips for things like stain removal on clothes or the best way to wash fruit. Helpful and handy indeed!

Philosophical question: If you didn't Twitter it, did it really happen? That's what this folksy singer says in his ode to the microblogging phenomenon, Twitter.
I'm tingling for tonight's return of How I Met Your Mother — even though I'm most psyched to see what happens with Barney and Robin (remember his geeky reaction to their one night stand?), I'm also curious to see if Stella accepts Ted's marriage proposal.
From the looks of this photo, all I can say is that if they're in a video game arcade, all signs point to yes! Video game arcades remain for me, the most romantic places ever. As a youngun, my first dates (or casual hangouts, if someone was too scared to ask specifically for a date) were at arcades, because it was one of the few parent-approved places you could go as a pre-teen.
Once inside, things got awesomer: you played adrenaline-pumping games together, cheered each other on at shoot-'em-up games, and if things went really well, you rode in those two-seater "ride to Mars" games. So tell me: do you have any old video game arcade date memories?
Since I'm online all day, it's only a matter of time before I'm goofing off at one of my favorite websites I lovingly call "time wasters." You know the type. I'm sure you've all got your own faves, but here are some of my most frequented and fun Websites of the Day. But beware, you'll soon be having way too much fun than your boss would like!

We've discussed Update Envy — the condition in which you experience great jealousy when a friend gets an updated version of a gadget you have, like if a friend got the iPhone 3G before you, and you were left with your sad old first generation iPhone.
But do you ever experience Refresh Rage? This is when a tech company (I'm looking at you, Apple) refreshes a product you've just bought, and your purchase is so recent that you wouldn't dream of replacing it, but it ticks you off that there's already a new version. Yes, I'm referring to the rumor that Apple might be coming out with a 32 GB iPhone 3G sometime soon.
While it's altogether silly to be mad - your gadget is by no means obsolete, it's just not the newest version of it - I totally admit that I will be beyond irritated if the 32 GB iPhone premieres and my shiny, still new-to-me phone is not the hottest newest gadget on the street. Petty? Yes. Understandable? I think so. Tell me you don't get annoyed if you buy a new product, just for the company to come out with a bigger and better product the next day!
The vintage-loving souls who are into Lomo cameras (myself included) will dig this Lomo Notebook ($20), which asks you to get back to pen and paper for note-taking, not some fancy cell phone app.
Not only does the Lomo Notebook give you space to make notes about shots and locations, but it comes packed with Lomo info for you: lomography products, stores, "Lomo doctors" and a calendar.
Plus, you get to say "lomo" a lot, which is just fun.
