The funny thing is what consoles the game will be on: PC, Nintendo DS, and. . . Wii! That's an awful lot of drama you'll be flicking your wrist at.
Or maybe this will provide relief to gamer fans who've had enough of the craziness with the series and make everyone just be calm, relax, and sleep with the people they're married to.
Now, I'm not going to reinforce the stereotype that there are NO women at Macworld. Because there are. Just not a lot. But the biggest issues of being a lady at one of the biggest tech conferences of the year have nothing to do with being outnumbered. Check out my slideshow for my experiences of being the fairer sex at this year's Macworld.
If you haven't heard of Eye-Fi cards before, they are SD cards that allow you to upload your digital pictures computer wirelessly over your WiFi network. I love them so much, I just had to include them in my January Must Haves list.
Well Eye-Fi has just announced a new iPhone application, so you can instantly send your iPhone pics to your laptop or put them on your favorite photo-sharing site. Additionally, they will soon be offering automatic uploading direct to YouTube and service to support HD videos. Just when you thought they couldn't get any more useful, right?
Need a break from all the Apple stuff? Before there were iPhone addicts, the original handheld attention-robber was the BlackBerry. Nicknamed CrackBerry for its similarity to the dangerous drug, those of us with the affliction were affected almost as badly as addicts to its namesake (though we kept our looks). Watch the following video for a poignant reminder that there is help available.
The online boutique LAMA specializes in Latin American-tinged art and accessories, and they didn't forget gadget accessories when putting their collection together.
This Laptop Sleeve is made from Mexican oilcloth ($28 for the 15-inch sleeve, $32 for the 17-inch), which crafty people know is both water-resistant and super easy to keep clean — just wipe off (good for klutzes such as myself).
And they took as much care with the padded inside too, so either way, your laptop's totally taken care of.
Macworld Mania! Macworld 2009 is finally here and what better way to kick things off than with the Apple keynote — bittersweet indeed. Want to learn more about the new iPhoto, and iMovie? Check out our slideshow!
So far I'm doing really well on my New Year's resolution, which is to try to run every . . . well, often. Any websites or iPhone apps that I can use to help me in these pursuits, I will, because being able to combine my geek life with anything else is the way to make me succeed.
My new social network is the Daily Mile, which lets me post my workouts and the details; whether or not I use the social aspect (I do enjoy the encouragement), having a place to record my progress is a big boost.
And if I ever fulfill my resolution enough, I can use Daily Mile's boards to check out group runs and marathons in my area. It's 2009, anything can happen.
