It's that time of the month again — top talker time! And which TeamSugar user left the most comments on geeksugar in December? That would be kia!
A big congrats to kia for being such an avid reader of geeksugar and for all your wonderful comments. You'll be receiving a chic geeksugar t-shirt in the mail very soon — just a small way to say thank you for your participation!
Want your own geeksugar swag? It's time to tell us your thoughts and opinions, and start leaving comments! The person who leaves the most comments during January will also be rewarded a geeksugar shirt, so start talking! You must be a TeamSugar member to comment, so if you're not a member, please register here for an account.
If you're feeling a bit shy, you can always order your own. I've put some of my favorite geeksugar swag items in a list below!
Like I've been telling you, this Lomo craze isn't going anywhere, and to prove it, here come some accessories. If you've gotten your camera, flash, and film ready to go, it follows that you need a bag to toss it all in. And I don't just go for any bag — I need a side of style to go with my function.
The Lomo Sidekick Bag fits the bill, with its messenger style and choice of two luxe-looking materials. The supple leather version costs $175, which is right up there with what a camera would cost, but the equally good-lookin' canvas version goes for a more reasonable $55.
When I first told you how much I was enjoying the Apple TV, I mentioned that I thought the device was best suited for party people. And I am party people. No, not in a frat-boy Brody Jenner way, but in that I love hosting people at my house.
The most basic hostessing rule is making sure people are entertained, and the Apple TV brings that in a couple key ways. My absolute favorite thing about the Apple TV — and I am aware of its many talents — is its slideshow feature. That's because my boyfriend and I take a ton of photos, and the people in the photos are usually the attendees of our parties, so they get to reminisce about other events while enjoying a new one.

They always manage to save the best for last — don't they? Phil Schiller just announced the new MacBook Pro, which is the world's thinnest 17-inch notebook, measuring in at .98-inches thick, and weighing only 6.6 pounds. On the side of the laptop, you'll find a Mini Display port, a Firewire 800, digital audio in/out ports, three USB ports, Expresscard, and the standard Ethernet and Magsafe. An optional add-on? You can pay an extra $50 for an antiglare screen if you really want to pimp it out.

Other great features include the glass trackpad, which includes four-finger gestures functionality and multibutton support. It even comes with the longest-lasting battery ever, which is said to last up to eight hours on a single charge. The sad part? It's built-in, so you're stuck with it. And for eco-chic peeps, it's EPEAT Gold, and arsenic, BFR, mercury, PVC free, and comes with 34 percent less packaging that's highly recyclable. The new MacBook Pro's will start shipping late January and will cost $2,799.

Apple's Macworld announcements keep rollin' in! Continuing with my earlier coverage, I'm picking up with Phil Schiller's keynote, centering around iLife; so far he's mentioned that new features of iPhoto and iMovie, and now he's moving on to Garageband.
Garageband can now teach you to play an instrument! With the "Learn to play" feature, you can get lessons from artists like Sting and Fall Out Boy on the piano or guitar.
The new iLife is supposed to be available later this month, and ships free on all Macs, but for upgrades will be $79, or $99 for a family pack that can be used on five computers.

Macworld 2009 is finally here and what better way to kick things off than with the Apple keynote — bittersweet indeed. So we may not have front row seats at the keynote, but
Gizmodo does, so we're recapping the goods from them. Although, we will be heading over to the Moscone Center very shortly, so stay tuned for all of the updates. In the meantime, here's some new iPhoto, and iMovie, and more Apple awesomeness to get you started. Sadly, there wasn't any
Mac Mini or iPhone Nano announcements.
