The addiction to their cell phones is a defining characteristic of the Upper East Side teens on Gossip Girl. Despite their inclination to stick to a certain provider, Blair, Serena, and the gang are still somewhat picky about their cell phones — they want them to match their clothes. Yes, these girls love to rock the rainbow-hued phone — there's plenty of black and silver phones on the show as well, but you won't find those in my slideshow — just color, color, color.

I've shown you how to feather your nest with robot decor for the home; now, get in your home with the help of a robot. New from Fred & Friends, these Robo Keys key toppers will take you to your leader (providing your leader's on the other side of a locked door).
These are brand spankin' new, so they're not available quite yet, but Perpetual Kid will have them later this month; you can sign up with them for an update on when they're in — and you should, since they're just $5.
I swear there's been so much Gmail and Google news lately that I'm constantly getting my Google fix.
Here's another way I get my Google fix — by visiting Google offices! I was thrilled to check out the Googleplex last May, and now I'm back with my second installment, which takes place at the Google office here in San Francisco.
Sugar Headquarters is pretty sweet, but geeking-out at Google is so much fun! Check out my slideshow to see what I encountered during my adventures.
You'd think that Engadget's editor in chief, NYC-based Joshua Topolsky, would be too busy doing things like manhandling the new Kindle to have time to talk to geeksugar for this year's installment of Geeks We Love. But this is a man who says if he could, he'd be called "super king" rather than simply "editor-in-chief." Do not underestimate him.
Since taking over Engadget's top spot last year, the mass of responsibility that's been heaped on Josh is matched only by his irreverent sense of humor (just listen to an Engadget podcast). And from music-industry beginnings (he was a music producer with a studio in Brooklyn) to excellent taste in eyewear, Josh is nebbishly cool — the definition of one of my favorite cliches: geek-chic.
GS: As a fan of your podcast, I know you're a funny guy — does not taking things so seriously make it easier to process all the information overload of tech news?
JT: I think our industry has a history of taking itself a little seriously. I'm not sure that having a sense of humor makes it easier to process the information overload, but it definitely helps to keep things in perspective. Ultimately, I know that if one day our technology becomes self-aware and turns against us, chases us down with a Green Goblin 18-wheeler, and forces us to sail to an island where there's no electricity — at least I'll have my sense of humor. And this iPhone I whittled from driftwood, and these apps I made from leaves.

In this week's episode of The City, Erin decided to distance herself from JR while Whitney finally saw Olivia's true colors. Unfortunately a very low-tech episode, which left this geek yearning for more. But I still want to see if you were paying attention. So get ready because it's now time for the tech quiz! And if you were digging the wardrobe selections last night, be sure to check out CelebStyle for fashion info!
So you've been waiting months for the new and improved Kindle to be announced and now that the time has come, you're wondering what the next steps are.
Well for those of you that want to get your hands on one as soon as possible, you must place your order by midnight (PST) tonight to be first in line when the Kindle 2 ($359) comes out February 24. Amazon will be prioritizing orders on a first come, first served basis.
And good news for anyone who previously ordered an original Kindle who has not yet received it, Amazon will automatically be upgrading you to a Kindle 2!
Am I pleased that we're starting to see gadgets that double as jewelry, like the USB Crystal Bracelet? Very much so. Whether I'd wear them is what I'm uncertain about, and it's not just a style call; I'm a big quality girl, and I just don't know if something ensconced in crystals is going to give me the same sound quality as a well-known and trusted tech brand.
But that's not to say that the Black Swarovski Crystal Bluetooth Headset is not pretty to look at; it's actually kinda cool, and the black crystals are a lot less obnoxious than the white ones.
They also want you to know that you can rock this as a necklace, with the Bluetooth piece doubling as a pendant. Perhaps the double duty justifies the $260 price tag.
I'm on the fence about this; what do you think of it?
