Check out this Dreamgear 3-in-1 Flash Cover— not only does it protect your brand new DSi from scratches and scrapes, but it also covers your outside lens when not in use (to prevent damage), and provides a bright flash for the camera.
This way, you can take pics in a less than well-lit room, and maybe even get a few good shots at night. And really, at $14 dollars, you really can't go wrong here.

It doesn't take a study to know that it's a bummer when your work blocks certain websites, but it is true — last year, British researchers found that employees became demoralized when their workplace put limitations on personal Internet surfing. Likewise, a recent study showed that people who were allowed to take mini Internet breaks to update their status on Facebook or Twitter, watch a funny video on YouTube, or play an online game actually makes you a better employee.
"Short and unobtrusive breaks, such as a quick surf of the Internet, enables the mind to rest itself, leading to a higher total net concentration for a days' work, and as a result, increased productivity," he said.
I hear that. The nature of my job lets me look at whatever hot viral video is out there, and encourages me to update my Twitter, but I even need little non-geeksugar related Internet breaks to refresh me.
What about you? If you're allowed to surf any website you want at work, does it make you a happier employee? And if you're not allowed to take little e-Breaks, do you think it would make you happier?
With word that I'll soon be able to connect to my Slingbox via my iPhone, I feel like I'll have the world in the palm of my hand. I mean, first TiVo apps, then Netflix and now Slingbox? I'll be a one stop media shop. Then reality hit in the form of a news release: the older (read: my) Slingbox models (including the Slingbox AV, and Tuner) won't be compatible with the new technology that comes along with the iPhone Sling app.
Not all hope is lost though. Sling is offering a $50 rebate for you to upgrade from your old box to one of the new models including the Slingbox Pro, Slingbox Pro-HD, or Slingbox Solo, which will easily and happily connect to your Slingbox iPhone apps. So soon, you can set, record, and watch your TV shows from anywhere, even on your iPhone. Awesome.
Though we have yet to see Tom Cruise, Guitar Hero has employed a wide gamut of celebs to play his famous role in Risky Business, but with a GH twist. With the latest March Madness/Metallica inspired spot, I thought I'd remind you of the past stars who've stripped down to their pink shirt and undies, and slipperiest socks, and yes, taken those old records off the shelf.
Three cheers for Gmail! The web-based mail service is on a Gmail Labs roll. The latest addition? Search Autocomplete, which when enabled, will help you find any and every name in your contact list. Just type in the first couple of letters and you'll see all of your matching contacts in the drop down list. And for other messages, all you have to do is type "photos" or "pictures" and the appropriate search terms (jpg, etc.) gets added in the search bar. . . same goes for typing "attachment" as well. Just think of it like Google Search, right inside your Gmail inbox!
To round out a day of jokes on April Fools' Day, CBS's I Get That a Lot prank show featured celebrities working regular-guy jobs and pretending to not be their recognizable selves. My favorite was Jessica Simpson as IT, helping out customers with support for their Macs at a place called Mac Enthusiast. Of course, she acts just as ditzy as you'd expect, and is actually quite funny. Check her out getting her geek on — black nerd glasses and all — below.
