Who's Your Favorite Eco Geek? Sure, the term "geek" may apply to more than gadgets in this case, but not only are these ten people lovably geeky in their own right, they all have one thing in common: they're passionate about our planet! Check out some of my favorite eco-minded geeks, and then be sure to vote for your favorite on the last slide!
Sure, mullets may have already had their day in the sun, but now it's really just come full circle to a classic look. Want one? Add them to your iPhone photos with the Mulletizer iPhone App.
And of course, like any good hair tester app, there is more than one mullet style to choose from. Take your pick among the MacGuyver, the Hockey Head, the Kentucky Waterfall, and the Canadian Passport, to name a few. And it's just 99 cents.
To help you get a local perspective on what is happening on all health fronts in your city, a site called Sick City tracks Twitter (Facebook coming soon) for any mentions of disease in a particular area. This real time disease and illness site tracks info and presents it over time through graphs and maps. To test it out, click on your city to see which health conditions are being reported in your region.

There's just something about sifting through stacks and stacks of records, finding a gem, and then taking it home to hear the crackle and amazing sound that a record provides. There's really nothing like it. And although I (and a majority of you) get our music digitally, old vinyl is making its comeback. Maybe it's the "full steam ahead to digital" momentum that makes people long for something a little less electronic, but I personally don't mind. I love music in all its forms, even when it comes on 45-inch discs. In honor of the record player revival, check out some of my favorites that I've found while skipping around the web.
Anonymous comments are now enabled across the Sugar network! They've been open on some Sugar sites earlier, but now they're on all the editorial sites. We love hearing what all the registered users have had to say for all these years, but we also want to give newcomers a chance to weigh-in when they stop by without necessarily having to register.
We still have rigorous monitoring in place — TeamSugar will be making sure that everyone abides by the rules of conduct, and we have new filters in place to keep the comments clean and constructive. Plus, in order to comment you always have to enter an email address. We're always looking for new ways to hear what the entire community has to say, so hopefully we'll be hearing from more of you across the network!
To Twitter or not to Twitter, that seems to be the question these days. Actress Drew Barrymore has already said that she doesn't know what 'Twittering' is and doesn't care to know. And Matthew McConaughey is next in line to denounce his Twitter reservations. In a recent interview with USA Todayhe said:
"Man, that Twitter deal, that's pretty bad, right? I mean, I'm letting her know, but I'd also be letting like 25,000 other people know that I'm available at the same time. That would kind of suck. Come on, right? Just do one at a time. Take your time, do it in person. Do it right."
I feel like I should break the news to him that Twitter is completely safe, as long as you don't Twitter TMI.
Hola, Summer! We may be a couple months away, but I'm all about putting my arsenal together — you know, new bathing suit, sunglasses, and clearly, this bag.
The MP3 Player Cooler Bag ($79) from Pottery Barn is not the first iPod-playing tote anyone has seen — and certainly not the first from Pottery Barn (last Summer gave us this bag).
It's not even the first MP3 player bag that cools your drinks, though this one is way, way bigger (and thus better, as conventional wisdom tells us).
That said, is a beach bag worth 80 bucks, electronic advantages and all?
