With the release of the iPhone 3GS and the price drop of the 3G to $99, more people than ever are finding themselves with a new iPhone, and for some, it's their first-ever iPhone. I'm hearing from my friends who are new to the iPhone how overwhelming the App Store is when you're just jumping in now, so I'm here to help you weed out the basics. Check through my list of basic, free iPhone apps and get your download finger ready.

It's a no-brainer that Transformers star Megan Fox puts the fox back in foxy, but who knew that she was such a geek? On Friday night during Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress admitted that she always wanted to be a comic book artist and that she still loves sketching up cartoons on her Mac. So let me get this straight — Megan Fox has a tendency to be irresponsible and immature, is the proud owner of either an iMac or MacBook, and she is an iPhone user?! I think she needs her own reality show so we can peel off some more juicy layers!

I finally got some time over the weekend to play around with the Canon T1i and the verdict stands: it's amazing! Not only are the pictures crisp and clear, but overall, the camera is a joy to use. I bought an inexpensive camera bag from Best Buy last week to protect it while en route to various places in the city, and quickly realized how light the T1i really is — a few times I panicked because I wasn't sure the camera was actually in the bag! Needless to say, my heart got a few good workouts in.
I even tagged along with PetSugar to the Ugliest Dog Contest to put the T1i through some trials, and I'd have to say the pictures turned out really well, even if the dogs were really ugly! While out and about over the weekend, I also remembered a few tips that I forgot since getting my first DSLR. Find out what they are and check out the rest of the photos from my weekend with the T1i when you read more

BlackBerry Bold. Don't be fooled by the device's white protective case, which practically covers the entire thing — at first I thought it was an iPhone! I'm sure you've probably figured out who this is by now, so scroll down to take a guess!
I love discovering trendy yet classy iPhone cases as much as I like talking about them, but there's also a time and a place for the following ones . . . cute ones! I know these might not suit everyone's appetites, but it's Sunday, and I think Sunday should be for fuzzy items like these. Here's four to make you feel all warm and happy inside.
Pandora coming to the BlackBerry was a pretty big deal, and now FlyCast has just released its beta version of FlyCast 2 for the BlackBerry.
What's offered in this version is enhanced stability, Twitter integration, iBlackBerry Curve 8900 support, and station caching. You can even use it in landscape mode on a BlackBerry Storm.
Pandora for the BlackBerry is rocking my world, but I look forward to downloading FlyCast 2 and taking it for a test drive.
Though I'm the first person to screech "Google it!" I definitely still hit the books when I need a recipe: the Joy of Cooking, anyway. But if it's not in there, I have my laptop open in the time it takes to preheat the oven.
Nothing beats the endless recipe compilation that's the Internet — in fact, if you don't have a few go-to places (mine are Yum and the Food Network's site), it can be downright overwhelming trying to find a simple recipe.
At a time when even Whole Foods has an iPhone app and it's easier than ever to geekify your kitchen, technology seems key to becoming a top chef. Of course, there are many traditionalists who don't trust the web for their recipe needs and stick, loyally, to cookbooks. Do you use the Internet for your recipe needs?
