When it comes to USB gadgets there is no telling what tomorrow will bring. There are some functional items, some fun items and some things that make you go wooow! The Hello Kitty USB Foot Warmers seem to be a mixture of all of the above. But are they chic?
Much like the USB Cape/Blanket number we featured recently, the USB foot warmers just have to be plugged in to a USB port on your computer, PSP, etc. and they will generate heat from the port to your toesies.

Earlier this month, MTV jumped on the geeky virtual reality bandwagon by introducing Virtual Hills and Laguna Beach where users can interact in the same environment as the Laguna Beach characters. You can choose your own wardrobe, meet others and shop for the hottest trends. A little FYI - MTV plans to show episodes in Virtual Laguna Beach a day before they are shown on TV so you can get your Laguna fix before everyone else.
"You spin me right around baby right around like a record baby." Now with the new Samsung VLUU i7, you can spin all your images around with its unique 180 degree rotating screen. With this slide-out design you can better display your fresh pics to all your friends and family. I have to say, I've seen Bill Gates speak a couple times regarding the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and he has always been passionate, charming and awesomely geeky. Last night, Gates went on John Stewart's Daly Show to talk about today's release of Microsoft Vista and honestly, he just wasn't as funny as I wanted him to be. Perhaps my standards are too high.

Former West Wing Star Allison Janney is her own definition of geek chic. Known for her witty role as Claudia Jean 'C.J.' Cregg, the White House Press Secretary, Janney held the seat as one of the most powerful women on television and was never afraid to use big words and strategy to scare anyone on the show. Last week, Janney joined Molly Sims, Eva Longoria, Josh Duhamel, DJ AM and William H. Macy to support the launch of Microsoft's new operating system Vista.
Another geeky thing about Janney, she formerly lived with Dennis Gagomiros, a computer programmer, in a Manhattan loft. My motto: those who love geeks must be part chic.
