One of my readers katie171 submitted her fun Mii creation. For those of you that have not been initiated into the Nintendo Wii world yet, Miis are customizable player characters that you can dress and model after yourself, or your favorite celebrity.
Have you seen the Miis of the entire cast of The Office? A flickr user was the mastermind behind these artsy characters. Click here to check them out and to get some ideas for your own Mii design.
You can also click here to learn how to race all your Miis on your Wii. So much fun!

Children in China will soon have to trade in their gaming consoles for legos and coloring books when the Chinese government enforces their new gaming restriction system. According to ars technica the government has instructed "all online gaming operators to monitor the amount of time that minors play their games each day." Kids who exceed the maximum three hours a day are supposed to have half of their earned credits and points from a game taken away, while those who play more than five hours a day will lose all their points.
The new system is intended to cut down on gaming addiction in Chinese youth which seems to be a real problem. And I thought punishment would be in the form of a time out or having their milk and cookies taken away. Then again, maybe I just lack a greater appreciation of the point system. Any thoughts on this new system? Leave your comments below!

Gene Simmons from the popular band KISS, was out in full force in NYC to help launch "Guitar Hero 2" for Xbox 360. Guitar Hero experts were invited to perform in the Virgin Megastore, as the best hero would be awarded with an autographed guitar and the chance to play with Simmons. Everyone is excited about the debut of Guitar Hero II for Xbox because it's an upgrade from the PS2 version with way more content. Rock on!

If Jim Halpert and Pam Beesley, aka the cute "couple that should be" from The Office, went on a dating website it would probably be I'm in like with you. The site is a free flirting game, which you can play on the web and your phone, and it's unlike any other dating site I've ever seen because it caters to a very simple truth: Everyone likes to flirt. The rest (as in the meeting, having a drink, having your first kiss) is all up to you. Created by two young guys, it caters to the 18-35 crowd and allows you to electronically tease and tempt people across the web and in your area. Personally, I'm shocked by how attractive, hip and fun everyone in the community seems.
The idea is based on the fact that "guys act badly in real life, and even worse on the web - think about all the creeps on myspace, match.com, and of course craigslist," says Dan, one of the creators. You play by initiating a game with a question (such as "drinks after work?") then users bid to win your affection with points, winks and little messages. When the set game time is over, you select a winner from the top 5 bidders and can communicate freely through email, sms, and even call that person without revealing his or her email addresses or phone numbers. In essence it's a safe way to flirt with someone online before committing to the actual drink date.
Not sure what you think of internet dating? Our resident charmer PartySugar was skeptical about it too. In fact, when she was introduced to the site she said - in her sassy and quick-witted voice - "I go out to meet guys!" Little did she know, two weeks later she would be stepping into the online dating pond. For instructions on how to use the site - including a special Sugar code that will get you in for free- and details from PartySugar's date, read more

My BFF and I were having dinner Monday night and our topic turned to the fact that she is going to have to move out of her beautiful apartment soon and is worried she will never find a place with such ample closets and a cool claw-foot tub - both strict requirements for San Francisco dwelling.
I thought I was just as hung up on the idea of always having a Victorian bathtub as she is until I saw this amazing shower created by Signorini Design, which uses slim metallic blocks and attached lights to rain down the water in color.
The water is lit with red, yellow, green and blue lights for a dramatic - albeit geeky effect. "I'm just glad they finally made a shower that's as classy as I am," says Geekologie. "Now I can finally shower in my tuxedo and monocle and not have to worry about feeling out of place." Touché. Touché.
