HTC just unveiled its version of the iPhone, the Touch which to some of you, you may recognize as the new and improved Elf. The Touch is the first cell phone to come with TouchFLO touchscreen technology, a new feature developed by HTC. Just like the iPhone, you can use your finger to navigate your way around the menu screen.. although you can use your stylus as well if you've got sticky fingers.
This phone boasts a 2.8 inch touchscreen, 128MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM, a 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth, Windows Mobile 6 and other great features.
It is currently available in the UK and will be making its way to Europe and Asia later in the month. Expect to see it in the US by the end of this year!

The Rasterbator is a brilliant application that creates huge, rasterized images from any picture. All you have to do is upload an image, print the resulting multi-page pdf file and assemble the pages into a beautiful (or disturbing - it all depends on your original image choice) poster that can be up to 20 meters in size. Yes, that's right, you can now create that enormous John Mayer art piece you always wanted.
It's relatively easy to use. You can either upload a file from your computer or use any file that is publicly available on the Internet. You will need a modern browser (Mozilla or Firefox are recommended) with Macromedia Flash Player 7 and you will need Adobe Reader (or other pdf viewer) in order to print the image. After you have cropped the image and selected a desired size, the rasterbated image will be sent to you as an easily printable pdf file. I got my hands on the new MacBook Pro first thing this morning and saying everyone around me is gushing and jealous is an understatement. Unlike last year's model, the new MacBook Pro has a mercury-free, power-efficient LED-backlit display. I am a little shocked to report that there seems to be a visible difference between the two displays, and it's not just due to the fact that my old laptop is covered in fingerprints and a bit of dust. The screen seems much brighter.
The new MacBook Pro's mercury-free status is a huge jump for Apple, who has been a consistent low ranker on Greenpeace's Electronics Guide and has taken some blows for not being as green as it can be. I'd write more, but I'm kinda busy obsessing over my new love.

United Cats is a social network for cat owners who want to create online profiles for their cat by attaching pictures (I'm sure Wii Kitty pictures are a hit), and who want to take a look at other cats, post comments and communicate with other cat lovers. There has been a whole lot of talk about the next wave of colorful Zune players and it seems the wait is nearly over. The new limited edition red Zune joins an existing line of brown, black, white and pink Zunes.
Zune allows users to wirelessly share songs, playlists, and photos. The 30 GB device stores up to 7,500 songs, 25,000 pictures, or 100 hours of video. It also features wireless Zune to Zune sharing, a 3-inch screen and a FM radio, which isn't always the case with MP3 players. It comes with some preloaded content, but the rest has to be purchased from the Zune marketplace.
The new red player will be available exclusively at Target and Amazon.com for thirty days beginning June 10th. After that promotional period you will be able to pick them up at any major retailer. It will cost around $220.
