If you like Conan O'Brien's "If They Mated" game, you'll probably like Monoface, a fun interactive flash site that lets you play around with a combination of face parts and create bizarre looking people.
The site, which was created as a gimmick for the mono PR agency, lets you click on the person's mouth, nose, head and eye to create a different monoface. You can click all day because there are 759,375 possible faces.
I wasted a good 15 minutes on the site after calamari e-mailed it to me and sang its praises. While it doesn't do anything besides create funny images, it's a high quality timer waster.

While awareness bracelets are almost always for a good cause they have gotten a little out of hand in the past year or two. What started as a way to promote awareness of serious diseases like cancer, became a bit of a "fashion statement." (I only put that in quotes because I'm not sure Fab would agree they're fashionable in any way.)
On their advertisement page for the Geek Awareness Bracelets, $1.99, Thinkgeek says: "By wearing any of these bracelets, you will show you care by shouting to the world and showing your support for geek awareness in every aspect of life. Whether it's hacking your PSP, watercooling your overclocked box, sniping a noob, or simply taking stuff apart and putting it back together — because you can — you always embrace geek."
While I'm all about hacking my PSP and shouting my geekiness from the rooftops, I'm not ready to adorn my body with rubber geek bracelets. What do you think: Are they geek chic, or totally geeky?

Thankfully Griffin has just come out with this Headphone Adapter for iPhone so you can use your ordinary headphones with the iPhone. For $10 you can get one of these specially designed stereo-mini plugs and swap your Apple earbuds for your favorite headphones.
Considering most of you were fans of the mood light shower radio, how do you feel about jewelry mood sensors for your body? Philips alongside a European project Stella have developed stretchable, flexible electronic adhesives for your body that integrate energy supply, sensors, actuators, and display features. Discussed on Gizmodo, Skintile the wireless Electronic Sensing Jewelry can light up depending on your mood, revealing your inner emotions to the outside world. I guess you don't have to sport these sensors all the way down your back like the model below, which is somewhat reassuring. Even if they were stuck on my hand, I don't think I'd want mood revealing electronic adhesives anywhere on my body. What do you think? Leave your comments below!
