Xbox Music Features

As with other music subscription services, users can pay for unlimited, ad-free streaming or opt for limited free streaming with ads. After an initial six months of the free account, users are capped at 10 hours of free streaming per month. The plans all depend on which device users are accessing Xbox Music with:

• Xbox 360 — An Xbox Live Gold membership ($60 per year) is required to purchase an Xbox Music subscription ($10 per month or $100 per year) on the gaming console.
• Windows Phones — $10 monthly or $100 yearly subscription only.
• Windows 8 Desktop and Tablets — $10 monthly subscription, $100 yearly subscription, or ad-supported free streaming.
