When the iPhone came out everyone went bananas over the so-called iDating phenomenon, so it's no shock someone has found a way to sneak Twitter into the online love game. Case in point — radaroo, a new Twitter dating app. You tweet your gender, preferred date's gender, zip code, and a series of interests. After you submit your status you wait while Radaroo detects it and lets others know you are single and ready to mingle. The service is free, seems painless enough and doesn't require a complicated dating site profile. The notion of scoping out a cutie's tweets to get to know him sounds dreamy, but I can't say I share my greatest insights on Twitter. Would you be open to tweet love?

I'd do it b/c it seems really easy and kind of cute, but I'd be worried about who I'm meeting...don't want the next "Twitter killer" or something! @_@
1I'm not in the market for this but I think it's fine. It's not really any different than doing it on a website.
2The bad thing about this is that it's a lot more public. If your friends know your Twitter, they could see this. Obviously dating sites are public too, but it would take a lot more effort for someone to find your profile and no one would stumble on it accidentally.
3I'm sure romantic interests have been twittering for as long as twitter has existed, however I am not interested in radaroo or any other dating apps. You have to be careful with anything you put on the information highway, including twitter.
