Would You Ever Get A Gamer Tattoo?

Did you have an "OMG!!!" reaction when you first saw this picture? Yeah, me too. It's not that I'm opposed to tattoos or Gameboys, it's just that the combo of the two kinda scare me, especially when I see a stomach covered with a cheat code (hmmm) and a gaming device. Surprisingly, when I asked geeksugar readers if they would want to love or leave Geeky tattoos, a staggering fifty-six percent of you said you loved them, which leads me to believe that you may be open to getting a gamer tattoo as well. Maybe not like this one from tecnochica, but something smaller and more... shall I say 'tasteful'?

I personally have 3 gamer tattoos.. And I don't regret one of them. People get tattoos for reasons that none of you are to judge. If this is real, good for her. It may not be the best "artwork", but to those that love whatever game it is to get the tat in the first place don't really care 100% that it looks fabulous or 'up to par' in the tattoo world. They get it because it's something they love and wanted to show it. If it isn't real, then so be it. I still think that it would be a good tattoo idea if you *personally* feel it's that important to you.

i have a "gamer tattoo" (kirby!) by myself, but this one looks pretty bad (if it was real...)

If I got one it would be small and in a descreet place to where I would be the one who knew it was there. I love tattoos but I know that society does not always like them so I make sure I get them places where I can cover them up easily.

Oh man!! thats such a good tattoo. I hope its from the Moldy Peaches song, where she says "up up down down left right left right b a start, just because we use cheats doesn't mean we're not smart.." i think the tattoo is really cool, sexy, and adorable, the nerd that gets this girl is the luckiest guy on earth! P.S. if you're single I'll marry you on the spot!

No offense, but this looks like sh*t. Looks like she let her 8yr old son draw this up on her with washable markers. And if this IS real, I wouldn't suggest having kids...

I love video games, And love this tattoo and was actually going to get the code myself, And also a tetris inspired Tattoo as well. If i had a girl who got this..Well I'd be happy is all. but if she got it knowing what it was on top of it.. all the better.. this code isent tacky.. this code is history, everyone know of up up down down left right left right b a start.

I might, depending on what it was. I would never get something that large, especially not on my stomach. A friend of mine has a triforce tattoo on her arm, that isn't bad :D

I thought it was up up down down left right left right B A B A start. And if it wasn't, that always worked for me on contra and lifeforce. You probably didn't even have to hit anything else after up up down down!!

Oy. I think the main problem with this tatoo is that it is craptacular. A good tattoo artist can turn almost any goofy inspiration into something that is at least visually interesting, and a great artist can make your idea gorgeous. I just don't think a good, legit, tattooist would draw something like this. Hopefully it is fake.

That has to be the least sexy tattoo that I've ever seen and I'd pull my shirt way down if I were her. Forever. Can you imagine her at 50? No. Would I get a gamer tattoo? Yes, I would if the tattoo artists was talented and the art was AMAZING. There are some really beautiful games that I've played and that I loved. Like Final Fantasy and Kingdom of Hearts. Probably never will though. I'd rather get an anime tattoo over a gamer tattoo though.

I wouldn't do it because I'm barely a video games, but I get really happy when I see tattoos like that! They are an instant flashback to my childhood. I'm a big fan of tattoos in general, so unique things like this are really fun to me. God knows what you'll think when you're 80, but if you're a hardcore gamer, rock it!

Wow its weird that I randomly bumped into this thread today, when I only just saw this picture today somewhere else on the web for first time ever, also! When I first saw it I thought as many of you do, that its done with sharpies or something. I think I'd get a gaming tattoo. Probably the Triforce.

I'm not one for tattooing a cheat code across my belly, but I would love to have a Triforce tattoo somewhere, preferably on the back of my right hand.
