These paintings by Finn Magee feature a lamp and clock that actually light up and tell time, combining art with the practicality of household appliances. I think they are fun, quirky pieces of art, but the cords coming out of the wall would bother me if I had to look at them everyday.

i think the idea is kind of cool, but the cord bothers me. if they can get the cord behind the painting, like mounted TVs, that would be better.
