The Windows and Mac Guys in '96

This ad totally cracks me up! Little did I know that the PC vs. Mac wars started long before the 21st century. I've got proof — this Windows vs. Mac ad from 1996! The descriptions of each one are worth zooming your eyes in to read, for example "The Mac Addict," it says: "The casual 'Seinfeld cut' is in. Of course, Jerry would never use a PC." I can't even imagine who would be their celebrity poster boy for Apple today. . . John Mayer perhaps? Did you know that the latest PC guy is really a Mac user? Oh the drama!

they really are the same. considering how much money i saved with my pc over a mac, i think i come out smarter. but my next computer might be a mac. we'll see how much discretionary income i have when it's time to buy!

haha... funny...when I 1st got my Mac about 2 years ago I hated it and just wanted to go back to my PC, but in the end they are both bout the same.

I am so over the Mac/PC thing. I've grown up around computers and computer users and it definitely seems like PCs are an easier/cheaper/more functional thing to own. And why is Apple trying to prove the quality of their products only by comparing them to a PC? Bah. They really need to find a new ad campaign because Justin Long really isn't the best spokesman of "cool".

Oh my gosh. haha. I think this should be on gigglesugar because it just made me laugh hysterically! The latest PC guy is a mac user because, after all, he's being paid by Apple to be in the commercial. No? ;)
