I think this UI is perfect for tablets and touchscreens, but I do wonder about the desktop environment when using a mouse. As soon as I get my hands on it, I'll report back!

Joshua Stern wrote up a review of it today and called it "Incoherrent and contradictory," He said the user experience was schizophrenic, switching between the touch and mouse metaphor. I would love for this idea to work for Windows 8, I just can't imagine HOW it would work. If you've been around the Microsoft block enough, you learn that their promises that problems will be fixed are rarely followed through.
