Who Is Your Favorite Tech Spokesguy?

Before he was Apple's hipster Mac representative, I had a little thing for Justin Long (I hear Drew Barrymore does too). Before him, I thought the Dell dude, Ben Curtis — remember him? "Dude, you're gettin' a Dell" — was pretty cute (subsequent marijuana-related arrests notwithstanding). And even though I'm a Mac gal, I totally have a thing for sweet little PC, John Hodgman.

Add to them the bespectacled Verizon guy, Paul Marcarelli, who dutifully asks whether you can hear him now and Alltel Wireless' blond cutie Chad Brokaw, and we've got a nice little collection of geeky crushes, courtesy of the tech advertising industry. Who's your fave?

I love John Hodgman, but it might have more to do with the fact that he's a Daily Show regular. Chad Brokaw, The Alltel Wireless Guy, looks like a douche. He's probably not, but he looks like one with that hairdo.I <3 geek boys! I'm married to one and tell my single friends to date geeks all the time. :)

I know he is old news, but the dell guy used to always make me laugh back in the day "DUDE!" He was so enthusiastic about a pc and I am actually using the dell at work as I type this :) :dude:

Hodgman is perfectly cast (and artfully endearing) as PC. (Plus, he is a rabid Mac enthusiast IRL -- pretty funny.)

It's a tie between the PC and Mavc Guys for me! (I voted for PC) I think he's hysterical in the commercials. (And in Baby Mama!) :)

Hodgeman is hilarious- we met him at a book signing in the city. He is great in person, but always stayed in character. He has to be the most truly geeky out of the bunch, too.

I voted for Justin Long, because I've *always* thought he was cute. But close second is the Alltel guy, he is really cute, I like his big smile.

Definitely either the Mac guy or PC, although John Hodgman being a Daily Show correspondent pushed me over the edge in his direction. The other three I just can't STAND! Maybe it's the geek in me, but the Alltel guy's smirk makes me want to punch him.
