What's The Most You Would Spend On A TV?

Right after our crash course in dangerously pricey gadgets, Sony showed off its shiny new HD televisions in Japan. The lineup includes 15 Bravia models, which I have a soft spot for, starting at 40-inches up to a glorious 70" Full HD LED-backlit LCD. While it's a series I've always coveted, I can't help but be shocked by the KDL-70X7000 70-incher that costs $34,836. The astronomical number got me to thinking, if money was no object and you wanted an amazing TV, where would you draw the line?

1,000 and it had to be pretty big (but not bulky) and fantastic for me to cough up that much... but i don't see myself buying a new tv anytime soon, me and my tv have a special thing going, i mean, why break up with something you are in love with? ha ha

in theory, i'd spend no more than $2000, but since i just spent $1000 on law school applications, i can only shell out a couple hundred for the new tv i so desperately need.

Depends on what I'd want it for, such as for a theater room, then it would have to be very large, and very costly. And of course I'd make it worth it in my surroundings.

Hubby bought a 65 inch flat screen tv for $3200. =P I had a cow when I found out ... but I have to say, I enjoy watching movies on it!!

between 5 - 7 hundred quid. if i was a rich as j-lo then give me the biggest baddest widest plasma out there. just had my daydream and seen what i could afford..make that 200 lol still there's a few tvs with hd /lcd about for that http://www.hdtvprices.co.uk My tv is so old the color is is button on the box !!!!!!!!!!!

if money wasnt an issue i miiiiiiiiiiight pay up to 10000$. mayb if the tv came with a fridge washer dryer ipod laptop annnnnnnd maybe a time machine.. CCRAZZZY!! if u have that much money i think you should be helping out the needy not thinking of buying a 10-20-30-40000+ tv..

We paid about $2,000 for out 65 inch flat screen. Aside from our dogs, it's our baby.

My family's tv is ancient: from 1987. The year I was born. Yes! So I don't think I would ever pay for a tv that's more than $1000! I think I'd hold out until Black Friday for some awesome deals on tvs.

I paid 1200 for my TV. If I'm willing to pay more than 2k for a television then something is seriously wrong with my social life.

£500 maybe, but probably more like £250 ($500). For me I really don't see the point in spending much more - I don't need a huge one... Now if we were talking how much I'd spend on a computer, that's a different story!

me too 1,000~2,000...its only a TV...of course unless I'm studying film or media marketing and I needed a cool tv...but for entertainment use, I dunno.
