What's Worse: Poor Cell Service or a Bad Internet Connection?

There are two unavoidable spots in my commute where I lose cell phone service. . .everyday. Yes, at this point I know to expect my call will be dropped when I hit those streets, but I have to get from point A to point B and I like talking to my sister on my way. I've explained the phenomenon to experts and they say it's a problem with the cell tower not being able to send a signal to those spots and I just have to learn to live with it until it is someday fixed.

Similarly, there are a few spots at work and home where I can't seem to get a solid Internet connection no matter what trickery I try. I recognize these are universal ordeals associated with living in a connected world and I should be patient, but it doesn't stop me from complaining. Which connection failure do you think is worse?

You know whats worse.... BOTH! yeah... i got the worse internet connection, as well as the worse cell phone reception. i use them both everyday and the main problem is at home where i am most of the time.

phone is worse for me because i do more mobile browsing than computer... there aren't many places my blackberry doesn't work, but when i find one it's soooo frustrating!

I am an internet junkie and I voted bad cell connection. My thought runs to an emergency and not being able to call for help.

Having a bad internet connection can be annoying, but I live in a building with TERRIBLE cell service, and it is such a pain. I'm always nervous if I'm on an important call that I'll get disconnected. Especially if I'm speaking to customer service or someone who I cannot call back immediately or easily. And God forbid I need to make an emergency phone call and the call keeps getting dropped! That's my biggest fear.

You can always call people back when you're passing through a dead zone, but shoddy internet can affect work productivity, and it really frustrates me when I'm in the middl of something and I lose connection!

since I started Grad school online, internet connection is a must. I don't mind a dropped call since I text way more than I talk...

LMAO of @ RoaringSilenci I would change my answer too if that happened. But right now I will have to go with bad internet services mostly b/c I use that more than my cell phone.

To me, bad internet connection is worse, because I use the internet for several hours every day, while I pick up my phone maybe every 3 days. I would change my answer though if I was about to get robbed. lol

Nothing is more frustrating than a crappy internet connection. I'm online more often than on my cell.

Geek, that picture would be more fitting for this story if that was an at&t phone. Sprint has great coverage and where it doesn't, it roams free on verizon. Any whoo, for me, bad internet service is worse.

Bad internet connection. It's happened that I might have to submit some online homework and I'm very close to the deadline when I finish. As soon as I hit enter, my internet goes down. If it was bad cell service, I'd just call a person back later.
