What Kind Of Ringtone Do You Have?

Imagine if we were able to analyze someone based on their ringtone? What would your ringtone say about you? Do you like a soft sounding melody? Or maybe you have a looping burp sound as your ringtone? Yummy! I'd like to say I've evolved in my cell phone ringtone tastes over the years, but considering the fact that my phone is always on vibrate, I can't say I have. Ringtones are definitely getting more creative and enjoyable, which gives me hope that more mobile manufacturers will start including fun ringtones like those on the iPhone. I think the best way to go is by making your own custom ringtones. I use a free ringtone service site that makes it real easy. I have a blackberry and I have been getting all my ringtones from this site www.bongotones.com They are new but so far its been great.

The theme song from Deadliest Catch. I'm a cowboy.. wanted dead or alivvveeee. It's by Bon Jovi.

I change mine alot. For a long time it was the theme from Jurassic Park, then it was the Alabama Crimson tide fight song. Right now it's MAry Jane's last dance. I have a few special ring tones for certain people :-)

Mine is my favorite song, which I downloaded. It's so far the only ringtone I've downloaded it's called Lie to Me, it's by 12 Stones. I like to download themed ones too.

mine is a ring... like a telephone. i can't stand 10 seconds of a song every time my phone rings. i wish that technology was nonexistant!!

I have a boring default one because my cellphone SUCKS. I miss my Harry Potter ringtone. it made me so happy to get calls.

I use MP3s mostly. Current ones => work-related contacts: the Blade Runner theme, my brother: Teardrop (intro) by Massive Attack, friends: Back in Black (intro) Amy Winehouse (before that the refrain of Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz). Everyone else gets Moonlight Serenade (Glen Miller). "Special" someones are treated on a case by case basis :)

I have a different song for everyone who usually calls me, so I know who's calling without looking at the phone. It's fun and it's safer when I'm driving.

The only thing I don't love about my Sidekick 3 is the limited availability of ringtones. I did find two that I like, but I miss the one I had on my Sidekick II. (Tom Sawyer by Rush. When I updated to the 3 my ringtones didn't transfer and TMobile stopped offering it. Grrr.)

I like some funky melodies as a ringtone. Don't like typical songs, especially ones which are in top right now. As the more you hear them the more you are getting sick of it. But something unique is always welcome! :P

Can I ask why I know so many women in their late 40's and early 50's with rap songs as their ring tones? Oh and they always have them turned way up and leave them in their desk while they aren't there. So annoying.
