What Does Apple Hold In Store For Us?

The 2007 MacWorld Conference is less than a week away, and Apple has already started building hype for what may, or may not be, their major announcement. Apple posted a compelling greeting on their homepage saying: The first 30 years were just the beginning. Welcome to 2007.

The image alone has caused a blogging frenzy, with some wondering if Apple will unveil iTV,
iPhone, or a new Ultraportable MacBook Pro. What do you think it will be?

I would love for it to be an iPhone, but then I'd want one and I don't have them money... Gotta love that college education.

I have no idea what Apple holds in store for us....but whatever it is excites me! I love that company. :P

We know iTV is coming from an announcement Steve did last year. This is their consumer show so he will start out talking about the Apple stores, how many people visited them this last year. Also he will probably make mention of how their sales of intel based products is selling like hotcakes. Always with an iTunes/iPod update. I really want the iPhone but I've gone to my last three Macworld keynotes hoping for that announcment. The rumors are stronger than ever on this one though. Thinksecret.com usually has pretty accurate rumor site. Don't read the comment section though as it's patrolled by trolls. I'm wondering if they will do an update to their Cinema displays as the Mac Pro is the only machine that doesn't ship with an iSight, if they built it into the Cinema's that would be cool. Usually there are small speed bumps. I don't know if we will see any exciting changes to any of the CPU lines as the Intel rev has been pretty major. Maybe some software updates and a rev to iLife or even a whole new application as they acquired some software companies this year. I've been going to the SF & Boston Macworld's every year since 2002 (sad that Apple ceased participating in the Boston shows). The keynote is geek Disneyland. We line up at 4am, needless to say I'm one of few women there. I leave on Saturday for SF, anyone else going?
