Happy Mother's Day! Sooo... do tell...how did you spoil your mom this year? Did you take some of my gift suggestions and surprise your mom with a new gadget? Maybe you sent her twenty free text messages from T-Mobile, or gave her the gift of gab thanks to Skype. From laptop bags and engraved iPods, to digital media players, headphones and digital photo frames, I'm curious to know what you gave (or what you received) this Mother's Day. Gifts or no gifts, I hope the sun is shining wherever you are and you are showering those who are close to you with lots of love!

I got my mom a stereo system!
1My mother isn't very technical minded. An iPod would be the last thing on her list.
So, I got her what she enjoys most: lots of yummy gourmet coffee. A Kona blend, Jamaican blue, chocolate cherry flavor, and the store's rotating mystery blend (I suspect it's caramel).
2This year for mother's day, I made my mom a DVD with pictures of my and my brothers and sisters and all of us as a family. I added this real sappy piano music and a border of pink roses on the slideshow. She loved it!!! Infact, she loved it so much she cried.
3Interior design! I picked out paint colors and have painted nearly every room in her house plus helped her rearrange things to be more stylish and I also went shopping and picked out accessories and artwork.
4I cleaned, haha
5My mom's not so great with gadgets, so I got her some Hawaiian decor.
6Don't laugh - my mom wanted a dimmer switch installed for some lighting in her home, so that's what we got her!
7My hubby got me a custom handbag from photojojo, and I made a bunch of sculpey monsters for my mom and godmother...they had little cards that said "Happy Monsters Day"...like little domokuns and whatnot...sorry, thats not interesting.
8...a pop art toaster. It's kinda gadget-y. *shrugs*

11a galileo thermometer! the kind with the glass bubbles inside...i dont know why...its very pretty though...i hope she'll like it.

13My mom is not that tech savvy either. I had to teach her how to edit a number in her phone the other day. She asked for a birdhouse for Mother's Day. So, that's what we got her. We learned a long time ago to get her what she asks for and that makes her happy. It was a big hit!
14my fam. got my mom a dvd player that can record...thats what she really wanted. =)
15Pretty purple luggage for her to come visit me in Arizona!
16I got my mom flowers and a $200 gift certificate to Bloomingdales... She loved it!
17I spent the entire day with her at home.
18I'm always out with friends and stay home probably two to three days a week so she was really happy that I stayed in with her.
