West Elm Introduces New Charging Station, the Lacquer Docking Station

The Charging Station Hunt Is Over, Thank You For Playing

My passion for hunting down a stellar, stylish, and affordable charging station is one that was borne out of frustration; I love my gadgets but I also love orderliness, and zigzagging cords all over my apartment does not a tidy place make. I was grasping out at straws by the time I found the cheap but cheap-looking Seagrass Charging Station, and I liked the look of Pottery Barn's Bento Box Charger, but the look of the price? Not so much.

But I think I found it; I think I can rest! West Elm has finally jumped into the pool (took you long enough, WE) with its new charger, the Lacquer Docking Station. Chic looking in lacquered white, mushroom, or espresso, it manages to be unobtrusive, but its shape accommodates a surge protector. It's so pretty, that the $50 sticker seems like a steal.

Its been great looking at all you other charging stations, really it's been fun — but I can commit to only one. Good luck to you all!
