Versace Gets in on the Cell Phone Game
Brace yourselves, fashion geeks — high-end fashion designer Versace has announced its first entry in the luxury cell phone market. Partnering with LG, the Versace Unique comes with a fabulous three-inch sapphire crystal screen, which is accompanied by an 18K yellow gold finish or stainless steel inlay, 5MP flash camera, media player, email, 3G connectivity, and something called Dolby Mobile surround sound technology. I've never heard of it, but it sounds expensive.
Coming in purple (which is a little too Willy Wonka for my taste) or a rumored black hue, the Versace Unique will be sold at "the most important exclusive watch and fine jewelery networks, and Versace flagship boutiques" around the globe. Naturally.
