Before the holiday rush begins this Thanksgiving, look for two new Windows Phone 8 products on Verizon. The wireless carrier is the latest of cell providers to add products friendly to Microsoft's new mobile OS to its lineup, the Nokia Lumia 822 and the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.

First introduced in September, the choice of the HTC phone in one of four matte colors enhances the operating system's playful interface, finally bringing a change from the basic black and white electronics that have been a customer favorite in recent years.
For the more budget conscious, a rebate will make the Nokia cost significantly less than the HTC, while also including many of the same hardware features like HD video and onboard memory.
