Upcycled Coffee Bag Laptop Sleeve: Love It or Leave It?

Vocabulary word of the day: Upcycled! As in the name of this product, the Upcycled Coffee Bag Laptop Sleeve ($35), which is made from an artist formerly known as a coffee-bean toter. Don't let the burlap on the outside scare you — inside is two cushy layers of cotton felt.

I love a good recycled laptop bag, and I'm envisioning this as a great gift for my greenest-geek family member; however, some might think the burlap obviousness is a bit of an eyesore or worse — a greener-than-thou statement. What do you think?

I roast coffee. and those bags may look cool but ur guna get the fibers wherever u put it. and those things are itchy

If it looked even more like a burlap sack, it'd be a good disguise to put your laptop in... you know, in case you need to take it through a bad neighborhood for some reason. But this looks too much like a computer sleeve for that purpose.

I like it; I'm a fan of all hippie girl stuff and burlap and canvas messenger-type bags are among my faves, which include...yes...some tie-dye and some jingly anklet action ;) So throw your plush acid bear at me! IDK, I'm too stoned to feel any pain :) Ha ha ha h :)
