USB Christmas Tree: Love It or Leave It?

Ok ok, I know I may be jumping the gun on this one since Halloween was just last week, but I can't help it—I'm already getting into the festive spirit! And what better way to spread some Christmas cheer then by outfitting your laptop with a mini USB Christmas Tree—definitely a much more stylin' desk accessory than the USB desk vacuum. This fiber optic tree, which was featured on Trendhunter will glow once plugged into a USB port. Each tree costs around $20 each. Would you ever hook up something like this to your laptop? it's so cute! it's like the USB hot plate and the USB soda cooler - i love those things...what a great way to maximize the fact that you're already plugged into the wall!

It's the cheese factor in this that attracts me to it. I might be tempted to buy it if I saw it on sale at the end of the season at a drugstore or something. Then again, I already do have a mini fiber-optic colour changing tree that feeds my X-Mas cheese fix, and that I found that boxed up in the garbage in the hallway of my dorm a year or two ago, so I didn't need to invest any money into that holiday cheese extravagance.
