You can recycle and trade your textbooks and your gadgets, so why not do the same with your clothes? With ThredUp, you can! ThredUp allows you to trade in the items in your closet that you just don't wear anymore for something that catches your eye from someone else's virtual closet. Like a giant online thrift store, you post the items you want to trade (or sell), and ThredUp will send you suggestions from other members on items you might like. If it's a fit, just send away your clothes in a pre-paid envelope, and get your new items in a few days.

Thanks for the post! Yes, version 1 of thredUP is shirts only, but we are adding more features soon! No doubt that thrift stores are great, but if you don't feel like sifting through racks and want to pull from a bigger pool, thredUP is a fun solution. i take it all back. after reading more about ThredUP it's only for shirts and it costs too much. At least with a thrift store you know exactly what you're getting. You can't even see pics of clothes you will receive. it's like a really expensive mystery shirt game. no thanks.

the link sends me to "page doesn't exist". i tried typing it in and i get same results! i'm so excited about this what's the problem?
