Totally Geeky or Geek Chic? Gadget Bag For Your Wrist, Ankle

Berlin-based designer Aehrenkranz, who makes funky handbags, caps and shoes, has created a gadget holder that puts the more masculine gadget holsters to shame. Apparently, you can put the bag around your wrist, ankle or belt and choose from 10 different styles.

According to the maker, the curved design is extra comfortable on the leg. It can be worn over skin, socks or boots and the large pouch holds a pack of cigarettes. The electronics carrier holds a phone up to 4-3/4 inches tall, and the wallet holds cash and credit cards. Despite the fact that it looks like something Ben Stiller might have worn in Zoolander, it seems the line has a real fan base in Europe.

wow, you people don't go out much! i think they're an absolute must and should be mass distributed. i'm sick of not knowing what to do with my bag when i'm clubbing and wanting to dance! and only other option is leaving everything like phone, lipgloss etc in the car or my friend's purse and tense up all night! in my view: def MUST! i'm even considering importing them to australasia! wise wise visionary inventor! and the Chanel version: pathetic attempt to improve on perfection they completely missed the mark!

I was trying to find something like this for my girlfriend, but she was not too cool about the large ones. She has lost about 3 phones and her license about a million times. One of my clients had this very cool shoulder holster from Tekholster.com or techholster.net... So, I bought her a white one. She thought it was dumb but I convinced her to try it for a night. Now she went and bought a green one too. Then she got me a black one. You can add holsters to it for different devices too!

I have a purse or a clutch to put these in. Why would I need this? And on the ankle??? Ugh. Reminds me of a trend during high school when everybody decided to wear their watch on their ankle. Ok, that was probably just my high shool....

They're certainly practical, but I would never wear one with a party dress (like the girls in the image) or anything. I could see wearing one when going for a walk or doing errands maybe, but I don't think it's the most fashionable or fun way to tote my gadgets.
