The popularity of the iPod and its matching white earbud headphones has contributed to one of the worst fashion trends in history: masses of people walking the streets with dorky headphones. The alternatives, namely large DJ headsets or Swarovski-laden earbuds, end up looking equally, if not more dorky. But what of these Aural New York colorful headphones? If you can ignore their tacky wanna-be sexy marketing campaign, the company offers an array of cute brightly-colored headphones that would help the world break out of the white earbud slump. They cost $20 and come in pink, orange, green, blue, black and white (mixed) and black. Is accessorizing your headphones ridiculously geeky (in a bad way) or geek chic?

I wouldn't wear 'em, but that's usually because I don't really wear headphones for music. I CAN see my friends grabbing them up if they knew about it, so I might lead them to that website!

10Earbuds suck, and so do images of a girl in her bra trying to show off how cool the earbuds are. I dont like either, the product and the ad photos.

12I'm more concerned about quality than anything else. I would rather find a bland set of headphones that are comfortable than a trendy set of earbuds that leave my ears hurting.
The ads are really lame too.
And anyway, JVC makes cute colorful Gummy earphones that you can get on Amazon for under $5.
13I just checked Amazon and it looks like JVC redid the earphones so they're more colorful! They're up to $9 for the new ones but that's not bad at all! And they're called Gumy headphones.
14Of course I'd wear 'em! They're like regular headphones except with color, making them more attractive looking!
15I would wear them if they were comfy! And aren't women/girls more likely to purchase these colored earbuds? Why oh why is there T&A?

17It depends on what color they are...I personaly would stik w/ regular but I wouldnt call those "geeky"
18i would buy them. i've always wondered why there were only white earbuds, glad someone finally got an idea and put colorful buds out on the market. =)
