I have a bad habit of charging my phone at night, then just popping my phone in my bag in the AM, leaving the charger plugged into the wall. Big power vampire there! Electricity is still flowing to your charger, even though there's nothing to accept it, leaving you with a higher power bill and a battery that still needs to be charged at the end of the day.

I have all of my computer and desktop electronics (lamp, speakers, etc) plugged into one power strip. Will turning off the power strip help or do I have to physically unplug it from the wall?
