You might know how I feel about message tees, but in this case, though I wouldn't wear it, I am wearing a big ol' grin. Who among us geeks and geek lovers hasn't gone weak at the knees at the sound of your crush talking tech specs, operating systems, and onboard RAM?

i have this on a shirt i got for my birthday last year only it's much cuter. it's a pair of nerdy glasses surrounded by the words talk nerdy to me. i love it. everyone always asks where i got it. thank goodness it was a gift so i don't have to tell them!

Bah, that didn't work! Again: I still do actually have a couple message tees hidden in the back of my closet (like the "I -heart- my Geek" one I wore to the rehersal dinner for my wedding), but I _try_ to resist their siren call. ;)

Hiya EvilDorkGirl! It's always nice to meet other female geeky professionals. ;) My company is actually ok with it too, and most everyone in the office does wear them. I've been on a kick for the last year of trying to look more polished -- still jeans, obviously, but maybe heels with my jeans (my icon there is my newest favorite pair) instead of the steel-toed Doc Martens I used to wear everyday. No one expects it of me, but that's actually why it's fun, seeing how I can still be casual and comfy but maybe slightly more put together than I was before. OK, I have to disagree with all of ya'll, I LOVE the purple. It matches my hair! I really like wearing bright colors, although I know it's not for everybody. Ryot, it's a shame you had to give up your geeky slogan Ts. I'm a geeky professional too but my software company is cool with them.

I've seen many shirts like that. I wouldn't wear that particular one because of how obnoxious the letters are. Too big! ehadams has the right idea. Jinx has some cute tees.

Count me in as liking Jinx's version better, too. Though, as a geeky professional woman on the rise, I made myself give up message tees in 2007. Was actually more difficult than when I quit smoking!
