A fanatical Trekkie may have seen the release of the iPad and thought, "Like a real-life PADD!" Finally Star Trek: The Next Generation comes to the iPad with the official Star Trek PADD (Personal Access Display Device) app ($4.99).

The app is designed to look just like the LCARS software interface used on Starfleet computers. PADD offers the complete database on everything Star Trek including characters, on-board technologies, alien races, ships, and an episode guide.
