Space Invaders Sweater: Attack Of The Acrylic Aliens

What's geekier than a Space Invaders mobile or a Duck Hunt sweater? How about a handmade pull-over Space Invaders sweater that's made with acrylic worsted weight yarn?

I know, I know, you guys are sick and tired of my geeky craft obsession, but you have to admit, this bad boy deserves some real cred.

The maker, n2Imaginations, points out that the video game design is on the front only, the back of the sweater is a plain black raglan sweater. Also, only one of the sleeves has the scoring design. We can only expect so much detail, I mean, the more intricate the design the less time n2Imaginations could play games. It's for sale for $60 on Etsy.

Haha, I once made an Invader Zim knitting pattern. I love geeky crafts! kramaplicious - I was wondering the same thing! Plus, I hope the acrylic yarn isn't the horrible cheap stuff that's itchy.

how on earth can anyone be sick of geeky crafts?! they're the greatest combination of modern(ish) technology/design and traditional handicrafts, like, um, ever. the mega-knitting snob in me, however, is curious as to whether that sweater will even fit someone. the shaping is all kinds of janky... ;D
