There's no denying it: Everyone needs a little Morocco in her life.

There's no denying it: Everyone needs a little Morocco in her life. Can't afford a trip right now? The only world traveling you do is on the World Wide Web? Get these Tile Skins then, and bring some European flair home with your laptop.

I've been digging the idea of laptop skins lately, so these will just go on my list of potential skins — since they are as arty as the ones in the slideshow but a little more romantic. A little more, ironically, old-world.

Cool Laptop Skins

Lately, I've been toying around with the idea of getting a skin for my laptop. Since I lug it around everywhere with me, I run the risk of damage from taking it in and out of my bag, in my luggage, or even just when it's sitting on my kitchen table. Plus, I have to admit I get pretty OCD about smudges and scratches on my precious gadgets... I'm sure you know what I mean.

But I don't want just any skin, I'd of course have to get something exciting, but not too flashy. I've shopped around, and found skins ranging from uber geeky to techie cool, and I think I've finally narrowed down my choices. But I need some help deciding! Check out some of my fave laptop skins from around the web and let me know which of these you think I should slap on my lappy!

Cherry Blossom Laptop Decals Make Me Happy to Be a Girl

For those of you who liked InCase's pink hard case laptop covers but still think $50 is a tad steep for a basic case, I offer you these gorgeous laptop decals by Etsy seller michellechristina.

For those of you who liked InCase's pink hard case laptop covers but still think $50 is a tad steep for a basic case, I offer you these gorgeous laptop decals by Etsy seller michellechristina. Simple, stunning, and only $14, these stickers don't look as janky as some skins can, and I find the flower design rather breathtaking.

The pink flowers are totally my favorite (why have I suddenly warmed to pink?! Blame Spring fever), but I also really love the black, and well, all 20 other colors she offers. They're pretty fabulous and girly (but not little-girly). Very big difference.

Trend Report: Leopard for Summer

As the tension between the scarcity and demand for animal skin mounts, animal prints are riding on the coattails of the debate.

As the tension between the scarcity and demand for animal skin mounts, animal prints are riding on the coattails of the debate. Leopard prints are becoming increasingly more popular and from Spring 08 to Fall 08 and we think it's actually one print that feels fresh, particularly for summer. We like a woman who doesn't associate summertime with baby doll dresses and bohemian prints. We like a woman who, even in ninety degree weather, can pull off a leopard print cardigan, bowler hat, and crisp pair of jean shorts. A.P.C.'s Spring 08 collection definitely has this flavor, and the model they've used for the ad campaign is a perfect fit. Thick eyebrows, little makeup, and an unsmiling 'even though I'm at the beach, doesn't mean I'm going to wear a sarong' attitude, make us feel like Spring 08 will actually bring a different aesthetic than the countless nautical/bohemian/aviators and a bathing suit-summers of year's passed.

New Laptop Accessory: Colorful Trackpad Skins

I've seen decorative skins for wiimotes, iPods, laptop screens, mouse pads, and gaming consoles, but I've never seen anything like this before — stylish skins for your trackpad.

I've seen decorative skins for wiimotes, iPods, laptop screens, mouse pads, and gaming consoles, but I've never seen anything like this before — stylish skins for your trackpad. Yes SkinStyler has designed these skins to add some flair to your otherwise plain trackpad — maybe it's just me but I've never thought of sticking anything on my trackpad.

When I first saw them on Chip Chick, I was a tad skeptical (it affecting scrolling capabilities), but SkinStyle claims that they actually increase trackpad sensitivity. They are also completely removable and come with a money-back guarantee if you're not happy with them. Available in a variety of patterns for $8 each or get this "upload your own design" pack for $46.

The first thing I thought of when I learned from Chip Chick that HP and SkinIt had teamed up to offer "skinned" products was—why don't I own more HP stuff!

Fun and Funky Laptop SKYN Covers

Whether it be with stickers, rhinestones, cases or sleeves, pimping your laptop is definitely one of the hottest geek chic trends.

Whether it be with stickers, rhinestones, cases or sleeves, pimping your laptop is definitely one of the hottest geek chic trends. I prefer my basic white Apple, but if I do decide to kick it up a notch, I'll probably get a SKYN. SKYN's are not only stylish, but reusable and will keep your laptop surface nice and protected. They come in a variety of sizes to fit various laptop models and range in price from $35-$40. Maybe a bit expensive, but then again, you are giving your laptop a full makeover! Here are a few from the Eva Collection:

Love It or Leave It

Love It or Leave It? Apple TV Skins

For better or for worse, gadget customization has become a huge trend.

For better or for worse, gadget customization has become a huge trend. If you were one of the lucky ones to get your hands on an Apple TV, you'll have to check out iStyles for artsy Apple TV skins. Featured on Chip Chick, iStyles has a wide variety of ultra-high resolution colors and patterns of skins to choose from - each with a funky, bright flare that covers up the devices original design. The skin set includes coverage for the top of the Apple TV and a matching set that wraps around your remote. Priced at $15. While I love the sleekness of the Apple TV sans coverage, these are two of my favorite picks because they combine geek (lego) with chic (Burberry). Would you consider getting one of these to spice up your Apple TV? Or is it cool enough without adding anything?

Slap A Lapschtick Onto Your Laptop

Bring a slice of summer right to your laptop with these vinyl schtickers by Kolobags!

Bring a slice of summer right to your laptop with these vinyl schtickers by Kolobags!

Lapschtickers are great because they add color and style to your laptop while protecting the top from scratches. And if you get bored of a particular print, you can easily remove the current Lapschtick and switch it up...which I must say is far less risky than permanently tattooing your laptop.

One size fits all as you can trim to fit almost all laptops and the price is $20. Check out all the fun patterns below, which include: red blossom, pink gerber daisy, black skull, blue snappy stripes, black racy and green asterisk (shown here).
