Simon cowrote, alongside Edgar Wright, the 2007 action comedy film, which parodied over a hundred action films and was released to wide critical acclaim. It's the second of the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy films by the two friends. Pegg's role as Nicholas Angel, a London policeman, brought an adorable geeky edge to the action-film genre.
