Just yesterday I was asking you what movies you'd want to see as video games, and now comes news of an epic video game turning into a movie: World of Warcraft!
The movie will be directed by Sam Raimi, who's got plenty of geek movie cred (he did the Spider-Man movies as well as the Evil Dead series).
No news yet on who will star or when the movie will come out, but I hope that Raimi will do WoW fans justice. What are your hopes for the movie?

As a total WoW nerd, the news is both exciting and...worrisom. It could be totally epic or a complete disaster and if that's the case, I'd hate to see 11 million geeks pissed off. Trade channel would be unbearable. There is such an intricate backstory to the game that I hope they give it justice.

2All I can think of is how pumped I was for the D&D movie and how sorely disappointed I was with it when it came out. I can't imagine this being much different.

I have a feeling it's going to be terrible, but it'll be fun to see it with my fellow WoWnerd friends, in costume, at midnight, of course.
