If it seems that the royal wedding has been taking over the Internet the past few weeks, it's probably because it has. According to new Webtrends analytics, Prince William and Kate's wedding has been creating more of a buzz than the Japan earthquake and Egypt's civil uprising, even before the wedding events ever began!

Even more surprising? Most of the social media and web chatter is coming from the US. In fact, Americans are creating 45 percent more buzz than Brits. Talk about royally obsessed!
