I'm about to go on a trip soon, so I've been doing a mental checklist of things to pack and trying to do everything to make my trip smooth and easy. This list from Wired is making me want to optimize how efficiently I can get through the airport, so much so that I was reconsidering whether my laptop bag was the best bet, or if I should spring for a wheeled-laptop tote for travel, like this Lodis Audrey bag, or this baby blue wheelie by Willowbrook.
But then I stopped considering it when I thought I might be wheeling my laptop bag. In school, rolling your bag behind you was just something you did not do. Am I old enough or big enough to not care about that stuff anymore and see it as geek chic? I don't know! What do you think?

Pretty!
1A rolling bag is actually a good thing now. :3
2I kinda like that one; it's cute!
Geeky but it's so much better for your back!
3Geeky, but I like the color.
4Pass. I'm really not a fan of bags with wheels...
5my perennial back pain says "geek chic!"
6Geeky, BUT, the cute color and style make it chic. I'm torn.
7Rolling bags scream "geeky," no matter how cute they may be.
8I don't like how when you're walking by people with rolley bags you get hit in the ankles. And my mom uses them. I'm voting geeky.
9Cute if your a chick...bad if your a dude.
10Suitcases are the only bags that should roll. But the design is cute, anyway.
11ID ACTUALLY BUY THIS
12I think these bags are a good idea. It's soooooo much better for your back and it looks cute to top it off! AND it's will fit my 17" MacBook Pro (well hopefully).
Yay!
13I think it is a good idea, my laptop bag gets
14really heavy with all the extras I pack into it!
I wish I could have the bag without the rolling part!
15I think this is a cool looking back, but like some others, I am torn. I actually found this page because I was seeking rolling laptop bags that wouldn't make me feel "frumpy." I am a single working mom, who travels with ALL my work at all times. Balancing a 40 lb bag on one hip and a sleeping 30 lb 3 year old with blanket & pillow on the other hip is REALLY challenging. Where is the tipping point?
