Polaroid Polaroid On The Wall

The math on this one just doesn't add up. Polariod is having some marketing fun by replacing mirrors in shopping malls and business centers in São Paulo, Brazil with Polaroid cameras. I could see it being entertaining when you and your girlfriends are in the loo, but when time is limited and you need a quick gloss touch up or need to remove lettuce wedged between your teeth, not so much. How would you feel if you walked into a bathroom sans mirrors but with cameras instead? Thankfully they aren't in the actual stalls. Leave all your juicy comments below! it's a bad idea unless someone was taking the pictures. Wasted film and people hogging the space. I t would be a nightmare.

I think it's wasteful and plus I don't think I've ever taken a good polariod picture.

I don't think the point is usefulness. To me, this is clearly a marketing ploy by Polaroid to keep their cameras from becoming obsolete by the mainstream markets. I'm sure they'll only be around for a little while as a gimmick. What a memorable idea!

this sounds cute. But i have a feeling teenagers will want to take a billion pics. and i feel it will add longer lines then women bathrooms already have. Are the cameras adjustable? ****"Everything in life is only for now."-Avenue Q****

This would be really cute and fun in bars, but there should still be at least ONE mirror! I'm sure the staff hates refilling them! It's bad enough they have to constantly keep up with toilet paper and paper towels in women's restrooms!!!

Shopping malls? Nah. I think its a cute gimmick for places like nightclubs - I'd write my number on the pic and give it to that cute guy I've been eyeing all night.

I am going to say no way on this idea. What if you need to reapply lipstick, or readjust your hairstyle. This simply would not work.

The concept seems really fun, but practicality-wise, it's kind of cumbersome, especially if you're standing there taking tons of pictures of yourself because you didn't get your face entirely in the frame, didn't like the way you looked the first time, etc.
